Ever After Purple is a concept born to CEO & Owner Camille Thiry Russler who longed to create an evening collection for past clientele who were enamored by both the intimate Ever After styling experience and that of purchasing a truly couture gown.
Now, both the Ever After bride and her counterparts who share an adoration of beautiful clothing and fine craftsmanship can don Ever After Purple to the season’s most lavish soirees, social galas and affairs that command impeccably beautiful attire.
The collection, which is designed under Russler’s tutelage by in house designer Renato Armijo, pays homage to the peacock, a striking image personified in the palate of jewel toned hues and sumptuous textures. Aptly referred to as “the bird of paradise,” the peacock is a symbol of Coconut Grove representing one of the area’s earliest settlers and, of course, home to Ever After Miami.
From the highly stylized gowns and skirts to the blouses, jackets, and even a poncho, Ever After Purple’s silhouettes are best described as modified vintage shapes that employ feminine flowing lines paired with expert tailoring and craftsmanship; couture bridal gowns translated into an evening collection.
Working with the hand and heart of an old world couturier, Armijo’s fascination with the sumptuous sirens once seen on the silver screen are evidenced in his use of the finest fabrics including silk chiffon, duchess silk, taffeta and brocade organza. Dramatic silhouettes and details include mermaid, column and ball gowns expertly accented by accordion pleating, corsetry, and elaborate and delicate beading, ruffles and embellishment.
